Q. Do you put the new fascia boards on top of the existing?
A. No, we do not. We remove all timbers. Covering existing timbers is not only poor working practice but can lead to damp being trapped and rotting timbers where you cannot see.

Q. Can I only have white?
A. No, there is a choice of white, black, brown or rosewood.

Q. Can the fascia boards, soffits and bargeboard discolour?
A. Yes they can but only if you choose a cheap inferior product. We use products which have a 15 year guarantee and BBA accreditations.

Q. Who will install the work?
A. Our own fitters and not sub-contractors.

Q. Is your product colour stable?
A. Yes, it is guaranteed for 15 years.

Q. What accreditations does the product have?
A. BBA certification and kitemark.

Q. Does your cellular pvc contain lead?
A. No, we use tin stabilisers.

Q. What guarantees/warranties do you offer?
A. We have 15 year guarantees on white and 10 year guarantees on coloured pvc-ue profiles.

Q. Is there any special maintenance requirement?
A. No, only wiping with a damp or soapy cloth. For stubborn stains, proprietary pvc-ue cleaning fluids are available from most stockists.

Q. my conservatory faces south will it get hot in the summer?
A. the conservatory will be warmer in the summer to help reduce this we can fit heat guard pollycarbonate or solar controll glass.

Q. how can i heat my conservatory in the winter?
A. the options range from underfloor heating, warm airconditioning, portable radiators are also a popular option.

Q. Will I need planning permission?
A. We will always check with your locall planning officer and if planning is required we can take care of it.

Q. can I use my own builder for my base work?
A. If you have a skilled builder of your own we can liase with him and work together.

Q. My friend had a conservatory fitted and it was really cheap and yours is more expensive why?
A. your friends conservatory was not only cheap but it probably looks cheap as well. We use only highly skilled tradesmen, top quality roofs and frames which are BBA approved to ensure you have a conservatory that you, your friends and Shropshire Cladding can be proud of.

Q. what happens if there is a problem once the work is complete?
A. Our after sales department will rectify any problem. Our conservatories are also covered by a 10 year insurance backed guarantee.
